Has anyone seem the Derran prints of "Hoppity Goes To Town" how is quality?

I have been offered a Derran print of "Hoppity Goes To Town" and I was wondering if anyone on the forum has owned or seen a print of this title from Derran? I ask because I have heared that they prints are better that the US release from years ago, which all of those the negative was heavy on the purple side.

I know the Derran print sof "Gulliver's Travels" is much better and good color compared to the US release years ago.

Thank you for any information about Hoppity you can give me.

I own a beautiful and most colorful print of „Hoppity“. I owned another print before; without the „A Derann Release“ card before the main title started and it was a faded print.
The colors of the Derann print are stronger than the colors on the DVD and focus and sharpness are wonderful. I didn’t recognize any cut (other than „Gulliver’s Travels“) when I recorded the German dubbing on the second soundstripe. The OV remained on the first soundstripe of course.

Doug will move all these to another section, but to comment, you have two very good options. 1. Derann. Early Derann prints of this title were sadly printed on earlier version Fuji film stock, and all those are various stages of purple by now. However, in the early 80's, Derann reprinted this title on LPP low fade, and these are great color today. The two downsides, 1. It has a slightly "Dupey" quality, a number of generations down and 2. All Derann prints have a whole six minutes edited out of the beginning of the film, which introduces a lot of the characters. Option 2. is the Red Fox Films print of this film. Pluses... 1. It is the full length feature. 2 at least my copy is agfa film stock, low fade and more accurate colors. 3. It is not Dupey at all, from a very early generation print of the feature all the details really stand out and the sharpness is really good, much lower grain. The minus's. 1. It is VERY rare, hard to come by. 2. There are occasional negative marks that comes off as white scratches. All the rest of the prints, Niles ect ... are shyte.

My full copy, bought second hand, has good colour etc, but starts with an Ivy Films Presents title card. I did hear that Derann used the Ivy Films negative for later prints.
