  • gonna sell my Chinon MV330 but need to fix the feed reel....

it flops down and won't stay upright when rewinding or sometimes when playing a 50 foot reel forwards. Looking for some sort of retaining clip that's broken or something but I can't figure it out.

Todd... Is it falling down to the right towards the lens or to the left towards the take-up reel? If it's towards the take-up reel I may have a solution for you.

I had the same problem. I used some Velcro cable ties I bought on Amazon to hold The feed arm in place while running a reel or folded down for storage.

These Velcro strips do not have adhesive backing, so I just glued them in place.
