  • B & H 256 autoloader

Has anyone figured out how to remove the top half of the autoloader? I bought one cheap as needed it's DFC bulb for my projector. I've managed to get the sprocket spindles spinning ( as were frozen tight )

However, someone had spilled a CA type glue on top half of autoloader so the two piece of Lucite won't move to the close position to start autoloading film.

I've managed to get all glue off the parts I can get access to without removing of the top sprocket wheel.

But can't figure out how to remove the top half of the autoloader even after removing two front facing screws. It's being held in part by the rod that is used to contol the action of the bottom half when the top half is depressed to load film.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated as i don't want to start removing the back gears to access that rod and connector plate

    Thanks
