We first saw and still see the rediculous over pricing of super 8, whether shorts, features or digests. Once that new Kodak camera came out, at that rediculous over high price, I immediately thought to myself, "Oh crap! Now cameras are probably going to start going up? How you folks noticed this? Vintage cameras, which would have easily sold on ebay or elsewhere for 100.00 or less, much less. Now, many of those same cameras, without USB's, without any 🧲 stripe raw film stock, are going for 900.00?!

The most expensive Super-8 camera they listed was a brand new Beaulieu 5008-S w/6-80 Angenieux, at $1699.00.
Applying the standard inflation calculator that comes to $9,131.00 in today's dollars.
The new Kodak camera price doesn't look so bad now, does it?
