Probably 2-3 months as machinery is receiving its annual service. Standard procedure.

All Super 8 prints are ready. Once they’re recorded and packaged they will be shipped to collectors. Image quality is a sight to behold, really.

        Best!

I am confused does this mean it will be a delay of 2 to 3 months while machinery is cleaned before the prints will be ready to ship?

            Hello Philip,

I don’t know what the mention to machines been cleaned mean. Prints are ready and checked (pending sound recording and packaging) and the Cineavision shorts’ negative is being worked right now so no problems here 😉

            Regards

I haven’t ordered this print, but I did buy a copy of “The Little Whirlwind”. The quality was excellent and surpassed all my expectations. I would expect other prints from Ultra8 to be of similar superior quality. They will not disappoint!

Side note: Anxiously awaiting the printing of those 1980’s music videos. My finger has been hovering over the “buy now” button for months now. It will be worth the wait.❤️

Actually The Drop of Water looks even better than The Little Whirlwind….

Not possible! What sort of witchcraft is going on in the lab? 😂
All kidding aside, keep up the good work! Super 8mm has never looked so good!

I have quite a few prints from Blackhawk and Castle Films that I collected as a kid in the 1970’s that are absolutely crap, and recently some prints from Niles that are even worse and should be in the trash now. Anything from Ultra8 will be FAR superior!

We are providing Andec spotless master sources and they do their best with them. 😉

Any update on the shipments of A DROP OF WATER? Has Alberto finished cleaning his equipment in Italy and striping and recording moving forward with backlogged prints?

Yes, both The Drop of Water and the Cineavision Double Bill are being shipped now. They both look terrific. Last prints will go out to customers on monday.
