Joachim - I think you have done a marvellous job here and can't wait to see the other parts. Phil is being completely Phil. That is the man I know.

I am very fortunate, I live about 40 minutes drive from his shop, so am able to attend all his sales / functions etc, not forgetting his attendance at Blackpool of course.
I know he has customers dotted all over the world who don't have a hope in hell's chance of ever meeting him or visiting what can only be described as his film grotto in Cleethorpes, UK, and THIS video is the perfect opportunity for them to make the remotest of his acquaintance and catch a glimpse inside his amazing shop.

Well Done ! I think this video is far more significant than you may realize.

Nope, I spend only three full days (+ arrival & departure) in England in November 23 - and Independent 8 is to far away (south east England).

In the last part of this "three-parter", Phil Sheard talks about exclusive film releases from "Classic Home Cinema" on Super 8 and the future of his business in England, one of the last remaining Super 8 film shops in the world...

                        Thank you Phil!

A wonderful interview Joachim! Thanks so much for posting. Phil seems to be such a nice guy, the very best of luck to him and his business. Imagine if Joachim had been able to do a similar interview with Derek Simmonds 30 years ago.
