SCREENING OF WAY OUT WEST LAUREL & HARDY
Jeff Aikman, President of J-E-F Films, Reg’d will be here! A business associate and friend, he and I have collaborated on projects in the years past. We always stayed in touch between 1977 through 2006. There was a brief setback – and for a while we did not contact each other. But now we are both nearby in Florida.
Jeff will speak about the film business and perhaps answer a few questions. Following the discussion – we will screen a night of Laurel & Hardy. Including one of their very best and truly funniest movies, “Way Out West.”
Film shorts will also include Laurel & Hardy in the Flying Deuces (digest); followed by The Music Box in its complete two reel length.
All are invited to attend. This screening will be outside at my backyard drive in weather permitting. Or, we will move inside.
All are invited to attend this event in sunny Florida. We are north of Tampa in Brooksville. Nearby hotels are close to home. Brooksville is just a regular town in Florida, however we are 65 miles North of Saint Petersburg. Also about 2.5 hours west of Orlando.
RSVP please. Stay for a few days and see movies in the Dolby Surround front room.
