The sad thing is that we'll never know as to how many features were released on standard 8mm optical sound. I know of only one, "Future world", which I saw on ebay many years ago.
This Elmo OM-8 projector is most likely designed for the Toei 8 format which was popular in Japan rather than the superior Maurer 8 format which was popular in Europe. If you look closely you can see the magnetic/optical adjustment to change the aperture size for the smaller Toei 8 optical sound frame.
On closer inspection it is basically a TP8 with only two sprockets, for some reason they have dropped the one below the gate. Unfortunately they are 100 volt , so not suitable for UK.
