I just received the 400 Digest of Alien which splices into the 200 version and it is fantastic
-it actually opens with a trailer “Beetlejuice 2024” -this is an amazing digest of just over 30 mins-the color and sound A+
highly recommended
-the clever edit keeps the story in tact and you don’t really feel much is missing
simply brilliant!

How close of an edit is it to the Ken Films 400 foot?

Hi Larry - it is similar to the Ken version and ends at the same point -the beauty is it joins to 200 edit making a great digest
the Ken version was 17 mins
this new 400 runs about 22 mins

Is this the digest put out by Lee Mannering? I'm just curious, as I know that a 600ft digest was put out by someone else but as a standalone 600ft, and not in two parts. At any rate, it looks good.

Just received my print for the new 400ft and It's a top print. Excellent picture and sound from the stereo stripe. The lab has done well. Fantastic edit but I will keep it separate from the 200ft as both have opening titles and credits which I like to keep intact.
