The one on Ebay seems a differnt model from that in Youtube. Ebay ones seems to be a later production model (USB digital camera vs analog ones). Would be of a decent quality, but that 2K asking price is...unintuitive, at least to me.

Definitely a better choice than this one anyway.

I think Dace West of DCR films used an Elmo like that for telecine. He demonstrated it at a Winchester event. The sensor is where the lamp normally is and the low power lamp is in front of the lens.

All of videos I found were somewhat fuzzy. But I guess it does not matter really. For that price I would expect many more examples of awesome videos.
