If you have an overscan of your print containing the optical soundtrack you could try to use this software: https://usc-imi.github.io/aeo-light/

I am about a days Drive from you, I am north of Tampa. I have the optical sound projector and I have a DVD recorder. All we have to do is run the sound from the projector onto the DVD and then you'll have something to use to sync up later. Let me know if you're interested
I'm not in business to do this. I will not charge you. I'm just offering to help, but you have to come here. I will not loan or ship any of my projectors.

If you have an optical sound projector, download for your PC Audacity audio software, an excellent program. Then, record directly to your PC with Audacity. If your desire is to somehow restore the optical sound, Audacity has within the program noise removal software, which you can adjust and use to get rid of the "hiss" inherent in all optical soundtracks! 😀
