Here is my procedure.
Capture and export the video with the RetroScan Mark I.
Edit the video with VirtualDub to trim off the blank leader and tail.
Make a note of the time length at 24FPS.
Capture and export the the audio with the RetroSync sound capture unit.
Edit the audio with Audacity to trim off the leader and tail and adjust the speed/timing to match the video.
Merge the two files. If the sound is off I can add/delete a fraction of a second to the audio and redo the merge.
Does all of this sound like the best way, or can you make any suggestions of something better?
Thanks,
Gregory
