Good Morning - I just got my WOLVERINE PRO in December 2020. When it comes to filming I'm pretty knowledgable, and post work on film I know what to do. I have the complete SUPER 8 SOUND / PRO8mm post production package; Fullcoat recorder, 2 Gang editing bench and lots of cameras. When it comes to post digital work, I know nada. WOLVERINE; The time stamp on all the files I transfer is 1-1-2017. How can I update the date on the machine to current date? It also keeps track of file numbers, how do I reset that? I like the machine so far, it's already paid for itself in transferring old home S8 movies.

    Thanks in advance. -Jim

    Hi Jim,
the timestamp cannot be changed, you need to change it somehow when importing the files on PC. From the FAQ at https://www.wolverinedata.com/faqs:

Q:How Do I adjust Image or video date?
A:The Wolverine units don't have a clock and the date is an arbitrary date. You change the date when you import the images/videos to the computer.
Lucky you, my files are all dated 1-1-2014!

I think file numbers are restarted from zero when you format the SD card.
