  • Philips FP3 35mm projector...Questions

Hello all. I have a Philips FP3 (8610) 35MM projector. I would like to power this projector up but I do not have the leads to the separate power supply, then to the projector. As its portable I am assuming it can run from UK 240 V mains, but I have no leads. I am also after the spool box/magazine that sits on the back. Can any kind souls offer advice please? Thank you

Is there any dedicated nameplate on its main drive motor itself? That should give you some clues then.

      Hi Mark,

You can find the manual for the FP3 on archive.org:

I think there are schema's for connecting the power supply.

Mark I had a FP3 after the old steam box GBN.
Why they put the reader in reverse is a mystery as it makes for a difficult stereo convert. Can be done tho and change the white lamp to red.

I can't be a great deal of help as mine came with the black.power unit back then. A quiet projector tho so stick with it. Eventually I wound up with a Kinoton 25 superb fun and still miss it.

Hope you get the answers you need.

Mark, did you manage to wire up the FP3?
