Hi I've got a problem with my wolverine scanner that the take-up drive is on all the time even when unit is powered down but still plugged in the only way to stop it is to unplug it, as it it constantly pulling the film jamb up, any help would be appreciated
The way I understood this is that the takeup starts running as soon as you plug the the DC adapter in, right? If so it maybe a shorted 12V switch on the power supply or the control signal from the controller shorted out to +5V. Have you taken the unit apart?
