I have just been given a number of 'The MountainWar Series" super 8mm films ( "The German Luftwaffe"-WS3 and "The Battle of Britain"- WS2) ....
I am an amateur video film maker and some of the content would be very useful for me to use in a film I am making for a local charity which honours the memory of WW2 veterans.
Does anyone know what the copyright is likely to be on these films...70 years from the date of production is one theory I have read .?
I would be grateful for any help you can give as I will not use them without being sure. Thanks.
