Hi y'all
New to the forum and gained a lot from it. Thanks so much to all.
I know most members are veteran techs who build their own telecine units, but being relatively new to the business I'm interested in this unit I found for sale.
I was using some Wolverines and and then digitally enhancing footage (working on a large archive), but of course it's very slow work for the amount of stuff and not a great result. I tried purchasing a Retroscan 816 but that didn't go well.
I really like the description (and buyers' feedback) of these units, and though they probably aren't as good as a frame-by-frame, my guess is they do a lot better than a wolverine...
What do you guys think? Here are the two links and some photos.
