Hi! I’m kind of new to this. Does anyone know how you can tell if you have a faulty projector bulb, or if there is something wrong with the projector?

Try fitting another bulb is the quickest way. Sometimes a microswitch can break that switches the bulb on and off, so if a new bulb doesn't work that could be the problem.

Thank you! We did try another bulb. But it’s a vintage projector so the bulb came off of E Bay. So I’m not sure if the second bulb may be bad as well. I’m currently looking for a repair place I may be able to bring the projector in to in the NYC area.Comment

If you've tried 2 bulbs and neither work then it's a projector fault. You haven't said what make and model of projector you have.Comment
