Of course, the Disney studio was at his best with Walt at the helm, and the studio would have functioned much better if the artists controlled direction, instead of the executive bean counters, but Disney, for a long time, put out quality films for "family consumption", and while that may be sneered at by "film/arthouse snobs", they are to this day we'll beloved by generations.
