  • British Space Shuttle

I was watching the latest NASA launch, and it reminded me of this British attempt using a Robin Reliant shuttle my cousin had one of those three wheel cars long ago, and I always considered it as a bit of a joke.

So it was nice to see that the British team found a more suitable use for it, rather that being on the road.....and shown here, boy did it go

All things considered, that worked better than I expected!

If you look at the early Soviet and American space programs, they went a long time before they got even this far, and with a lot more resources.

They certainly looked younger there than they do now. I wonder if that aged them.

If I was standing out in a field with an entire car hurtling out of control in the sky overhead, I think that would age me at least a couple of months! ("HELMETS, Gentlemen!...Never mind, the helmet is all they'd find anyway...")

Elon Musk did it better, but Top Gear did it first!

I've seen all sorts of TV shows about people doing astounding things with cars. I doubt I will ever see anybody top this episode!

"We're going to make a homemade rocket out of a car."
"You're going to...No, wait: please say that again?"
