I actually have all of the equipment for the format, which was called cine3 even though it was technically 3.2mm. It was created by Eric Berndt (one of the creators of the auricon) and he attempted to sell it to NASA in 1960, but they didn't go for it. It is a center perf format. As for equipment there is the following:
2 x cameras
1 x film slitter
1 x film perforator
1 x set of developing parts
1 modified Bell & Howell 8mm projector
1 optical printer enlarger cine3 - 16mm
The projector was actually missing the front pressure plate so i sent it to my friend Martyn Stevens who fabricated a new pressure plate and wrote about it on his web site
I actually made some new 3.2mm film and shot in using one of the cameras and then projected it at an AMIA conference. I also wrote and article with a friend Marsha Gordon that is in the AMIA journal called the Moving Image.
I scanned the film here https://www.facebook.com/dino.everet...7654385736278/Last edited by Dino Everett; June 04, 2020, 11:34 AM. Reason: the link was not directing you to the actual article
