All the video projectors I have looked at have a relative short distance throw, even the ones with zoom lenses. I am searching for video projector with the comparable throw of a super 8 projector. I am looking to fill a 60" screen at about 18 ft, so I can use the same table for both film and video projection. Has anyone come across one?

I use an Epson in my home cinema which is ceiling mounted which like the Panasonic does what you want but they are more expensive than the short throw ones you have been looking at. Alternatively you could use a telephoto lens attachment of suitable diameter intended for a camera if you can find one at a suitable price. You would have to mount it on a stand as many cine enthusiasts do when projecting squeeze prints.Comment
