  • Video from Blackpool 2024

Here are 30 minutes of video from Blackpool 2024! As usual we follow the program from Friday to Sunday.

In addition to the regular pieces, we get a few minutes from the Q&A session with Mark Williams and Adrian Winchester and the session with Film is Fabulous! Full versions of both sessions will be published soon.

We also see Ged Jones announce his new website!

A huge thanks to the organizers for making a fantastic weekend! Also a big thanks to the dealers on Sunday! The event is getting better and better for each year, and I hope to see as many as possible of you in November 2025! You don't want to miss this!

Thanks Eivind! Great video! Loved seeing our own Shorty there. Also saw some glimpses of John Clancy, who's been so involved with the BFCC and otherwise. All that film ... and no Osi! Argh!

      Eivind,

What a wonderful video, thank you! It's great to see how well attended and also how well organized the Blackpool Film Convention is.
It's also lovely to see the tributes to Peter Wilson and Bob Nicholls. I'm looking forward to seeing the complete Q&A with Mark Williams.

The Cinemec Firenze LH400 looks amazingly portable!

Another superb video, Eivind. So good to see Blackpool not just continuing to be successful, but seemingly thriving. Nice to see Ged Jones and John Clancy attending, as well as many of the other regulars and new faces. Thank you so much for the effort you go to in making these.

BTW, I might be wrong but it seems I saw Shorty Caruso Joe Caruso ... was that you? flying from the States to the UK for this event? what a total commitment to the hobby then..

Shorty has been coming to Blackpool for a few years now. Just a pity we all forget to take a forum members group photo at the last one. Also sorry the shots of me make my stomach look as if I had been overdoing the buffet breakfast!
