French Photo Fair

Held this week-end (Saturday and Sunday) at Bièvres, in the Paris aera. Although it's a photo event, some film material can be found.


Once again, due to the size limitation of the pictures on the forum, I had to resize most of them, so a lpart of the original photo is not seen, but it's not too bad, I think.

I confess that I focused on 9.5, but of course, other gauges were available.

This fair is particular as it is outdoors.



Denis Olivieri, who is very good as fixing machines. He reperfors 16mm to 9.5 since recently, and can process 9.5 filmstock in Paris ; Jeannine Latrasse, 94 years old, who is responsible fir the French magazine, and Dominique

Great Pics Dom, and some great looking 9,5 projectors and cameras. That white and gold Pathe Baby is stunning. I've no doubt that it is in full working order, but even if it was not it would look wonderful adorning a coffee table or home cinema.

Thanks again Dom. Rather strange in a way to see so much expensive gear that I could never have afforded to purchase even secondhand in my day. I wonder how much of it found buyers? 😉

Ken, I spotted a (cine) camera lens (with a 0.95 aperture) at €400 , it found a buyer. Since it was mainly a photo fair, I cannot really judge the prices on most of the material, but I heard prices of thousands of euros for some (still) cameras, prices I would personnally never pay (if I had the budget ) for sure.
