Along with the Beatles, the Electric Light Orchestra and a few others, The Beach Boys and most especially Brian Wilson, created the audio foundations for my life in general. Brian Wilson wasn't just a "surf" oriented writer, ( as he was the core writer of all they're hits), he created lovely songs of such depth and longing that I'm weeping internally just writing about them. I learned how important relationships are and the beauty of marriage thru, "Wouldn't It Be Nice" and how thankful I am for my lovely wife as stated so brilliantly in "God Only Knows", but there is such a wealth of beauty in his songs that is overwhelming. Where most music today honors just "getting some", Brian honored women, respecting them and that also helped form my view of the "fairer sex". Thank you, Brian Wilson ", for sharing your gifts with the world.
