Oh Gregory...I feel for you. I'm sure the Emergency Room has heard every story on how we break something. I just found out my 14 year old grandson broke 2 fingers by taking a swing at the back of his brother's head. He should have known that his brother's head was much harder than his hand.
My doctor says recovering from a hand fracture takes at least 2 months. I've been doing my own PT exercises since getting my cast off. I find manipulating the joints while soaking my hand in hot water is really helpful. I also use an ice pack to keep the swelling down. It seems to improve a bit everyday.
