A little bit of trivia. I remember 20-25 years ago John Wayne cast and crew mugs which the Duke handed out at the wrap of a movie. You could actually buy them for £200-£500 on eBay. At the time and they turned up for sale on the John Wayne forum. Now you would never have seen True Grit or The Shootist but they were not uncommon. I see 7 mugs went for $57,500 recently.
For the uninitiated they are made by Ketchup and individually named to cast or crew member ie actor electrician stunt man etc.
Universal Studios bless them also released mugs that were identical apart from no name. I think Mc q and Brannigan are the two.
Then we have the reproduction no gold handle and no name. Again Mc Q is the most common.
Wish I had bought a few in the day but shows what inflation has done. Make super8 look cheap LOL
