  • Big Trouble (2002) is another It's A Mad Mad World in new era... have you seen it?

    Hi folks

I have never seen this movie until it came up on my FB feed.

    https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Big_Trouble_(2002_film)

Reading from the wiki above this one was a Hollywood big flop. The movie had $40 milion on budget but could only get $8.5m back.

This is an all star cast movie, how could it be?

I decided to watch it.. and surprisingly it was really funny.

I kind of seeing it as It is A Mad Mad Mad World. I am not sure how could it get that bad feedback.

Or it is because I grew up in that type of genre and people in 2000sh did not like it?

    Have you seen it?

ps: it is only 85 minutes, so should be available on super 8mm it would not be too costly while iy is repeatable like IAMMMW.

pss: if we want to digest it to 30 minutes, I am sure it is an easy job to edit it without loosing the main plot.

Best remake of that kind, in my opinion, was "Rat Race", great cast and laugh out loud funny.

And the score is 2 to zero. I am adding it to my watch list. It is available in the US on Hoopla (free through my local library). Here is more info:

Yes Osi, it was made indeed inspired from that very movie.

            It is on youtube now:

            https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MDiu4Yzkshw

Since youtube will never allow copyrighted movies/songs uploaded without the concern from the owner, I guess this movie since it is more than 20 years old now, they put on youtube legal and free to get money from traffic.

            So enjoy it!
