Transferring digital to film.

Hi, I have been chasing a few titles on film but was wondering can digital like DVD be copied onto film. Does anyone know of anyone who can do this?

Marco Emiliani in Italy prints digital video to 16mm. I've seen some of his work and it is beautiful (It can never better than the source material, of course.).

-from what I hear, he's usually pretty busy!

There was a service out of Canada some years ago that could transfer digital images to Super-8, although I don't think they could do video. They were mainly oriented towards graphics for titling. I always wanted to give this a try but before I got to it they went out of business.
