Thanks Paul, I too wish everyone in the United States of America a safe and Happy Holiday!
I will have a Super 8 screening of The Red Fox Yankee Doodle Dandy in honor of the occasion!
From your neighbor in the North, stay safe and stay strong.

Happy 4th of July to all our colleagues across the pond!

Here in England, this 4th of July is also a very special one, as it is the first day that pubs and hairdressers are allowed to be open after being closed down since March due to the Coronavirus. So you can imagine, we are all a thirsty bunch of hippies !!

You didn't mention that cinemas can open too, more relevant to this forum, perhaps. I'm not going to any today, I think they might be too crowded (within Social Distancing limits) and I don't want to find I can't get in.

        Happy 4th July to all.

Yes indeed all our best wishes to our American friends. We are having a barbeque, letting off a firework, hanging out the England flag then projecting some Super 8 films

Brian - The reason I didn't mention it is because some cinema chains (Cineworld?) have voluntarily decided to extend their shutdown.

It will be interesting to hear from anyone in the next 24 hrs on this forum what their experience has been today in those cinemas that HAVE opened.

Happy Fourth of July! Thank you for the clips, Paul & Dominique. Hearing Cagney sing Give My Regards To Broadway reminds me that I haven't been to Broadway, Herald Square or 42nd street since this whole thing started!
