  • Ennio Morricone

We just lost a film music score genius , he passed away on the 6th July. My personal favourite Cinema Paradiso, one of the best films I have ever seen. The list of films he was involved with is endless. We shall all miss him.

Thanks for that Paul, it just highlights how important music is in filmmaking. This is a perfect example , great cinematography, storyline perfect for US and of course the theme music , if this doesn't move you to grab the tissues nothing will !

Morricone was a master composer. Remember the next time you watch the Italian produced Westerns featuring Clint Eastwood. He was a master of film scores and even made the credit of scoring a John Carpenter Film! His talent and works are ever appreciated. His art lives on!
