I'm so sad! She was class, from begining to end, and no one could play Maid Marian, but her. Rest in peace, lovely lady.

I thought her onscreen partnership with Errol Flynn was amazing too, they did 7 movies together, I'll always remember her as Maid Marian from the classic "Adventures of Robin Hood". I think we can say with the departure of Olivia de Havilland and Kirk Douglas earlier this year, that the golden age of Hollywood has now sadly departed once and for all!

She did very well to reach 104 and never looked her age. Have seen all the films she made with Errol Flynn. Have got copies of most of them on VHS or DVD. They all look good via my Epson. Ken Finch.

Errol Flynn was crazy about her. He proposed marriage....but she was sensible enough to know Errol could never settle down.
