I apologise that this topic is nothing to do with films or projectors.
I have just been watching the BBC West Of England News about the sale of a pair of glasses once owned by Mahatma Gandhi. This has been on the TV and local radio for the last few days. A salesroom in east Bristol one morning found an envelope sticking out of their letterbox. In it was a pair of glasses once owned by Mahatma Gandhi, an enclosed note told them to throw it away if it wasn't worth anything. But it was valued at between £10,000 to £15,000. The present owner was delighted with the news.
Today, the owner is really celebrating, as they have been sold for £260,000. Yes, over a quarter of million pounds.
The motto? Never throw anything away.
