A while ago I watched the blu-ray of this movie. I was so impressed with it, I thought I would see if I could obtain the soundtrack. I called in to a store in town that has a huge range of all kinds of stuff, but no Interstellar. I spoke to one of the people at the counter, who then and there, did me a favor of checking things out overseas. I could get it from the US, but after 4 months waiting for another order to arrive he was still waiting for, he suggested getting it from Germany instead. I called into the store a few weeks later, and the same salesman said...its arrived and what a brilliant soundtrack by Hans Zimmer it is to. It reminded me a lot of the Philip Glass soundtrack to "Koyaanisqatsi" , so if you like that one, then you might like "Interstellar".
As far as new science fiction movies go, both "Interstallar" 2014, and "Passengers" 2016 in my view, are at the top of the list, with stunning special effects and story originality. The one thing you may find with "Interstellar", is the need to watch it a few times to get the full gist of the story. With "Passengers" it looks great in both 2D and 3D.
