Just a short mention in case anyone interested missed it all happening..
Networkonair.com are gradually releasing a good number of the old loved black and whites on Blu-Ray for around £11.50. George Formby has seen a grand total of three now making my day of course with Its in the Air due out Feb but its worth ordering quickly as they are limited runs.
They have also done a number of Gracie Fields and other noted stars of British wartime screens, so if you like your variety in HD they are well worth supporting. More are in the pipeline once they get the HD Scanning treatment.
The quality is very good indeed and takes me back to when the BFI screened its new positive prints in the 80's which we flooded to.
