I have found that though the film in the wooden projector starts off as 35mm when you peal the protective layer off it is reduced to a non-standard 24mm with the large holes used for transport.

The only trouble I have had so far is that the splicing tape has come off after I left it in a colder room. I will have to clean the ends thoroughly and re-splice as when this Covod trouble is over I want to show a young cousin how film projection works.

Brian makes a good point about the gauge of the film. I had hopes of changing the film clip every so often but the difference in size makes that impractical.

Paul, that wooden projector has a coolness factor of 16.8 on a 10 point scale!

Looks like the Technofilms version of the UFO episode Psychobombs being shown on it.
