Wow, that's a fab collection you have there David. Always liked the 'Lost in Space' models.

I've loved those Aurora model kits since first seeing their ads in comic books in the 1960s.

I started with Airfix models, which were usually wartime aircraft and tanks, etc.

Aurora models, In those pre-internet days, were difficult for me to locate in the UK but I did manage to find and build a Starship Enterprise and the UFO from 'The Invaders' in the 1970s.

Somehow, in the mists of time, they have vanished (through various house moves and clear outs) but seeing your models has inspired me to perhaps start again.

The last model that I 'built' was the Revill Millenium Falcon, with my Son around 10 years ago. This was a snap together kit requiring no glue and no painting.

My most recent model is the Mummy one that I posted earlier and I have to confess it came ready for display with no assembly or painting required (had it as a Chirstmas present). Think I will take a look at some of the Moebius and Polar Lights re-issues of the Aurora kits.

Wow THANKS Gary ! I'm glad I influenced you enough to get interested again in models ! It's really great therapy , especially in these hard times of isolation . GOOD LUCK in your search too . There are TONS of them on eBay , but check online model stores and local shops . Even at Flea markets !

Danger, Will Robinson, Danger! We used to play "Lost in Space", in the playground as a kid, and I ended up playing the "Stowaway", constantly wringing my hands and yelling, "Oh dear oh dear oh dear!". This series of posts have been a great trip down memory lane.
