Sad news for the hobby. Keeping projectors running well may become difficult in the next few years. A French well known repairer will probably retire as well and, unfortunately not be replaced.

The skill to repair these old projectors can be handed down, but without replacement parts repairs will come to a halt.

I am so sorry to hear Richard that this has become true in your repair business. Thank you for keeping many customers projectors running over the years and for giving such helpful advice to us on the forums. I wish you the best.

Sad news indeed. One of the main reasons to have a collection of favorite projectors in order to keep them going by robbing parts if needed.

Thank you Richard for the help you’ve given me in the past, especially with that finicky Kodak M100. Take care 📽👍

We must be over 40 years since no genuine new spares from a manufacturer but miraculously we are still rolling the shows. With this in mind I see no reason for change... ever the optimist.
But we do have a sea on innovation.
