The video doesn't show so many cameras and the fact that everything is in Greek (no subtitle, except in...Portugese but there is a summarize in the description) doesn't help making it very appealing but it's still interesting to watch.

Even though I cant understand a word he was saying, the fact that he has a "Guinness World Records Certificate" says a lot for his collection. Just looking at some of his collection through this video was really good.

Edward, I found the option (I had no idea why it's by default set on Portugese) but it didn't help : the text doesn't mean anything, nor in French, nor in English. It seems that words are put together without any logic...

It is mostly projectors. I first met Dimitris Pistiolas many years ago,before the EU, when I went to the customs office to collect a film and pay the charges.He was at the post office section and he told me he was a collector too! In later years we met again through friends and became friends. He had his collection in a rather small basement warehouse crammed with machines from top to bottom.He started collecting in 1960. In later years he was trying to sell the collection to various parties (The ministry of culture,the greek cinemathecque and others) but noone showed any interest or,wanted it for free! Those are his daughter and wife in the video.
