Well it certainly was yesterday, we drove up to a small town called Oxford, about 55 km from Christchurch for the day. Even though its winter at the moment, the weather was brilliant. The Oxford town hall is where my Ernemann 2 projector came from. After lunch which was really nice, I phoned a chap who is part of the local museum crowd. He kindly offered to come down, open up and show us around. Yvonne I must add was not interested in a museum, so went shopping down the main street instead.
Almost the first thing I saw, was a excellent exhibition of the other Ernemann 2 and Westar 35mm projectors. The chap showing me around had made up this display himself, which I though was really well done, just after, he opened a back door leading to more of the museum exhibition. I have to say for a small rural farming town they have put together a brilliant display of all kinds of stuff.
I took a couple of photos there and back .
