The National Weather Service actually issued an advisory that we go hide in the basement, but the major, major wind passed well to the North. We got the minor, major wind. There's a couple of small branches out on the lawn this morning.

We live on top of a hill, which we figured out years after we bought the house. Maybe someday some hurricane will scour us off the hill, but at least we can't get floods!
