  • eBay Payouts Update

There have been the odd "discussions" here about eBay and its new(ish) payout policies.

We have been tied up to this from the start when it could take up to 10 days to see our money from sales arrive at your bank, well I have news.

We now are having any monies received from sales being credited immeadiately to our eBay account, instead of being "Pending" for 4 days and this money is then paid into our bank account first thing the next day.

This has happened to all our payments over the last fortnight so I dont think it is an error on their part.

Me personally I prefer the old way where I could build up money in my Paypal account and keep it seperate from my main bank account and only transfer it over when I want to. Having it go strait in your bank account makes it harder to track the money and seem to disappear more quickly on other payments made. Its like having a piggy bank which is emptied strait away.

Hi members , still ref ebay, had an unfortunate incident a couple of weeks ago. Using 'buy it now' I purchased , or should I say thought I purchased, a 4x4 garden tractor. Tried contacting seller numerous times to arrange collection, nothing, zilch . Bear in mind this was a £3100 purchase.and was in Scotland. Alarm bells started ringing I knew now this was definetly a scam. Managed to talk with someone at ebay explaining the situation, they said they would put this with their fraud dept. Contact us in a couple of days to see whether the seller does contact you, they said. Two days later they responded saying they had removed the seller due to illegal activity and I would receive a full refund, which I did. What a relief! You can't be too sure when thinking of buying on eBay. I checked the sellers feedback , all ok , the pictures looked genuine, no reason to suspect anything untoward. I always thought these unfortunate things happen to other people and not me. Finally I have to say ebay kept to their word and
promise of money back guarantee .

That's great to hear that your experience was good. It's terrible to hear that some people were waiting ten days for they're money? That means, no doubt, in some cases, buyers were getting they're items before the seller received they're money!
