John always does a bang on job with these reviews. One of a handful of features from my teen years that really influenced me. I am still not sure as to where my scope super 8 1977 feature really came from. Honestly, too good for a pirate feature, but I am truly thankful to have the film I grew up with. When I first saw it, dad took me and, as I was fixed upon the screen, dad went next door to the bar to get plastered and returned in the last 20 minutes, and realized that he had missed a damn fine film, (and let me down a little), so we stayed for the very next showing, and dad agreed that this was truly a rare, special film.
