A big shout out to Lee Mannering and his better half for putting on this fair, after long lockdowns it was good to get out and sell some films, I hope we can support future fairs.

Tommy I agree with you, Lee and Val certainly made everyone so welcome . It was great to catch up with friends old and new sharing in our great passion for all things film related. Can't wait to screen a few of my purchases. It is up to all of us to make the effort and support the film fairs that are now restarting . Many thanks Lee and Val for putting on a great show!

Bless you and thank you for the kind comments much appreciated.
You could tell by the smiles on peoples faces how pleased they were to be seeing other film fans and sharing the camaraderie of our hobby and it was a lovely day although exhausting making these events happen. For Val and myself it was a joy to see people together again catching up and really enjoying film.
Many photos were taken and I'm sure they will pop up across the forums but this one alone tells the story of the happiness people shared, the very reason we made the magic happen.
Robin, Adrian and myself projected projected film throughout the day using Bauer, Bolex HID and of course my first Eumig HID machine which was REELY fun. I loved Robins Goldfinger film with vivid colour and I projected some of my 600ft programme reels from over the years.
We also projected a one off trailer for NO TIME TO DIE and pleased to say young Simon is going to project it at Blackpool in November for me.
The movie raffle raised a good sum for the Church food bank and the FREE TABLE received donations from collectors going to MacMillan Cancer Support which will help a sufferer receive nurse care at home.
A special shout to the dealers who supported the event bringing some lovely films, projectors and other film items.
Thank you also to those who attended and without you we would not have our event.
Val and I purchased some new films for our collection and finally left the building around 6PM having chatted to a few that didn't really want to go I think😎 Nice.
Thank you one and all.

It was certainly not cold (inside or out) yesterday . I left fairly early to catch a train after buying several films not to mention the last of the raffle prizes, and enjoying, both what was on sale and meeting other collectors, the first of this sort of event I have had the opportunity to attend for some time.
Pictures to follow when I have downloaded them from the camera.

And from me, a big round of applause to Lee & Co for putting on this very successful event.
Definitely worth trekking across the Pennines from white rose territory into red rose !* Got some really (sorry.... reely) excellent titles at proper sensible non Ebay prices!
Well done!
* For those who may not know, the symbol of Yorkshire is a white rose, and for Lancashire a red rose.
