Sadly lost, The power Of Love, this (of course silent) film is presented as the first 3D one. Wikipedia says : "The film utilized the red-and-green anaglyph system for the 3D experience and also gave the audience the option of viewing one of two different endings to the film (in 2D) by looking through only the red or green lens of the spectacles, depending on whether the viewer wanted to see a happy or tragic ending." (The Power of Love (film) - Wikipedia). I don't understand how two different coloured lenses can give a different story when watching the same film.

I Imagine the two ending were on the same strip of film one red one green and as it was silent it didn't need two soundtracks and were put there from two different negatives when making the anaglyph print. Instead of a right and left eye view of the same scene you got two different scenes. You just closed the eye of the ending you didn't want to see.
If there was a piano or orchestra accompaniment they would have had trouble playing both happy and tragic music at the same time though.
