Hi Lincoln....I just asked Yvonne this now what she thought of John Carpenters 'The Thing" we watched a while back on blu-ray. The reply I got was it was OK and added it had more of a story to it, she is a hard one to please for her to say "The Thing" was good is really quite something

I've always thought "The Thing" is one of the few times that a remake was better than the original. I know, the original is considered a classic, but the remake would have to be considered a modern classic.
