Graham, some good special effects but haven’t they worn this story paper thin. I am not a fan of film franchises, they just seem lazy to me just to perpetually rework the same tired ideas. One of the major problems with modern film productions, we’ve seen it all before yawn. I can’t see how they make any money, Batman 10, Avengers 8 it’s so sad I used to go to the cinema all the time. The modern release schedule is just awash with this tripe.
I agree with Phil, although, if it's done well, it's OK with me. I am looking forward to this last Indiana Jones film, though I hope to god that they don't totally botch it. The ones that really tick me off are the countless, constant superhero films. It's getting so bad, they're literally getting down to ... " Hey! Here's a character on page 13 of issue 24 that we haven't made a film about!". Of course, it won't stop until these idiots stop buying tickets for them.
The issue with Jurassic Park started with the 1st Film. Any serious storyline from the Michael Crichton’s book was thrown out in favour of CGI dinosaurs 🦕 🦖. This could have been pursuit of box office with family friendly movie from the start or Spielberg himself has said he was nervous how Schlinder’s List would be received so made sure Jurassic was going to be a mega hit to keep him current.
Anyway movie made a bundle of cash 💰 at box office so sequel Jurassic 2 was brought out which had big body count more violence and was loud. That’s my memory of seeing at Cinema.
The 3rd Jurasssic was the annoying family who were never going to die and was a rehash of 1st movie.
Jurassic World was a bigger CGI reboot of 1st movie. Very Star Wars. Glass bubbles that the main actors escaped the dinosaurs is my only tangible memory of it.
If there was any other Jurassic movie between it and Dominion I have missed them 😊😊.
As Osi says the entire Marvel and DC universe I would not cross the road to see. How many reboots of Batman , Superman Avengers can you have. I think they have tried Incredible Hulk 3 times and everyone was crap.
Last Indiana Jones just about pulled it off but Harrison Ford was way too old back then.
Funny Harry Potter movies leave me cold too. Same story the new teacher is the bad one and the CGI effects in the 1st 3 movies look very ropey now. Wonder when they will be remade. Must be soon.
The new one to come out? "Jurrasic Potter during the Dark Knight!"
Don’t give them ideas. It will likely come true 😳
Harry Potter got high on hallucinogenic mushrooms which he obtained from Hagrid that day. He went to bed with Hermione which annoyed Ron as he was still sharing his room. Anyway after being hit on the head by Ron who declared his gay love 💕 for him he had a magic mystery sleep 🛌 at Hogwarts which mysteriously turned into a giant theme park full of giant cgi dinosaurs, an ancient mad scientist played by Michael Caine and being pursued by the Black Avenger played by Kanye West. Directed from his hospital bed and also starring as the grizzled old man Clint Eastwood .
Folks did you notice it states Real D 3D wow is it going to have a 3D release? that would be great. The 3D effects on Jurassic Park and Jurassic World were outstanding. I have been looking forward to the return of the original cast, and not is some minor role either. The only thing that would have been the icing on the cake for me, would have had the man himself Steven Spielberg direct it, however I am sure the person chosen will have done a good job
The fans out there, if the present response is anything to go by, are over the moon with this up and coming latest release. Its sure to be a big box office winner at the cinema, just the thing to bring people back. I will certainly be going no doubt about that .
Well, this is bound to be the last one, as there is no Jurrasic Park anymore, volcanic eruption, bad bit O luck, there. Yay! Clint Eastwood as the cane welding ole feller, except this time he's traded it in for a 44 magnum!
I'm actually looking forward to this. What has been wrung dry is Terminator. How many times can you keep sending a terminator with a savior behind him. Same story each time, nothing new. But I am biased and I am just a little kid when it comes to dinosaurs.
David’s opinion is identical to mine so it’s a No from me. On the bright side I am spring cleaning/sifting through my collection so there will be a Jurassic Park DVD 🦖maybe watched once and a sealed Jurassic World DVD 🦕watched like never heading to the charity shop soon. At least that was a positive outcome.
I will probably wait for it to become a direct digital download, but that is more my hatred of going to the local cinema these days, as I hate those monsters such as "The Idiot Who Can't Shaddup", as well as the " Cellius Phoniticus ", and the brats running wild and free and then there's myself, having the audacity of actually being pissed off because, for some odd reason, I can't enjoy the FREAKING FILM!!!!!!!
