These dates come around very quickly and once again it's time for our gathering for the East Lancs Film Fair UK.
Come along and enjoy your hobby with like minded collectors.
7th is the first Saturday after the Bank Holiday. 11am is a decent time. A 4 day week followed by a short trip to a Film Fair. It's looking like a good start to the month of May and the summer of 2022.
Well its fast approaching 7th May 2022 and as always we rely on traders attending and our visitors to make our efforts work.
Last few dealer tables to fill at only £15 each and entry only £3.
We have Invited some media students to come discover reel film so once again we should have a pleasurable social gathering.
You will also be able to place your order for CHRISTMAS TRAILER REEL #3 and hear first hand news of other new films coming your way. A small deposit will be required.
Really looking forward to it Lee. Have sorted quite a bit of Super 8 to stock the sales table, which I'll be sharing with my good friend Geoff Hatton, who's an amazing 85 years old. Wish I had his energy!
Last year's event was such a friendly affair and enjoyed by all that attended. Have also got one or two items for the 'Free Table', that may be of use to other collectors.
Appreciate organising and staging these events isn't straightforward and requires a great deal of time and effort, so a huge 'Thanks' to you and Val, for giving us enthusiasts a grand day out!
Soon comes round, really looking forward to the fair. Always a joy to catch up with like minded folk, sincere thanks to L and V for organising this friendly event.
John
I truly love to see enthusiasts spending time chatting all things film and being a modest sized event its a good one to easily have a steady rummage to see what can be found.
The free table where you can place your unwanted film related items for someone else to take away will appear again so feel free to make use of it. We leave a MacMillan charity box on it if you feel able to make a donation should you wish to which will help a nurse care for some poorly soul.
Also looking forward to seeing what films people will be projecting, usually a nice treat with something interesting on offer. As its 100 years of 9.5mm this year one trader is bringing some 9-5 sound all being well which will be great. I'm bringing some 8 from the home movie archive and SCOPE You only live twice.
A nice friendly gathering and looking forward to seeing our fellow film friends.
Safe journey.
Reel film will be projected during the day
Including the first Standard 8mm Derann advert reel
