What a sad demise.
She will not be forgotten.

I purchased the box set a few years ago and enjoy a season once a year. By sheer coincidence I was working on a painting of her when I heard the news yesterday.

Very sad news, and even more distressing in view of what caused her death. I can't claim to have met her but I saw her at an event in 1996 and when at one point I was standing near her, she seemed just as charming and good-humoured as you would hope. This was at a special screening of the 1958 'Dracula' during the major 'Hammer at the Barbican' film season. There were many guests from the world of Hammer at a reception beforehand, and it was pleasing to see that Anna was just as welcome as the guests associated with horror films.
