  • New Film/Cine shops near you.

My goodness the film movement has grown the last few years to the point where a new shop has opened in Accrington Lancashire selling films and projectors to callers only. I had a chat with the owner who explained sales were high and he had sold 50 projectors since opening and lots of film so we are very fortunate to have this locally and yet another move forward for film.
When I get time I'll get the full address and a few pictures.

He will be coming to my film fair on 7th May and details are on this site.

Wow, that is amazing to hear, and certainly good news. I wonder if the owner is a member here.

I believe that the Forum does have a member who lives in Accrington.

          Is his first name Stanley?

LOL...couldn't resist that one. (The joke will be lost outside the U.K.)

Back to the topic - good to hear about successful cine business.

Classic Home Cinema is about 3 miles from where I type this.

          Cheers.

Lee, that is amazing. Do you have an address? Accrington isn't too far to go and have a look.

              Stanley...🙄

Arundel Photographica do not seem to have a web-site.

Regarding an earlier posting. For the benefit of those left bewildered, it refers to a football team, "Accrington Stanley".

                accrington stanley - Google Search

Oh Maurice - you are only further muddying the waters as our American friends might possibly be more familiar with the term soccer

Back on topic - great to see more interest in the hobby appears to be thriving!

Returned from my carers break and thank you Phil for your positive comment.
I shall attempt when I catch up with work to pop in and take some photos from Davids shop. He lost his partner a short time ago so will tread softly but nice to see someone else investing in film most certainly. Bear with me.
